Share stories: your book reccomendations

Reading might just be one of the last true acts of magic on the planet. Somehow, seemingly random arrangements of 26 letters on a page can transport us to worlds unknown, take us on impossible adventures and evoke emotions we didn’t even know existed.

Dedicating time during your week to curl up with a book is one of life’s little luxuries, and it doesn’t take much to entice us into the pages of a new book; soon wrapped under a blanket, cracking the spine of a new hardback with a satisfying creak.

At The Tartan Blanket Co., we believe in slow living and mindful moments, and even use reading as a way to practice colsie. We love sharing warmth, and one of the best ways to stay connected from afar is through stories - which is why recently asked you all on instagram about your favourite books!

Whether the last book you read was The Hungry Caterpillar or if your ‘to-read’ pile is threatening to take over your house, you can never really have too many books.

Keep scrolling to see what your top picks are; and who knows, you might find a new favourite.

The best companion for reading? Well yes, of course a cat, but blankets take a close second.

Ps. we’ve got ones for the cat here, too!
