We are delighted to announce that together with you, we raised & donated
£5,000 to Sightsavers
over Black Friday weekend!
And we'd love to remind you that the UK government will be matching any personal donations given before 9 January, so we encourage you to consider giving on your own as well!
That’s why, as a small business who wants to encourage peace over pressure, we’ve been coming up with ways to make it about giving instead of just getting.
Read on to find out why we’ve chosen to partner with Sightsavers and donate 5% of your purchase to their mission over our 20% Off Black Friday weekend sale, which will be Friday-Monday with early access on Thursday for our newsletter family.

Who are Sightsavers?
Sightsavers’ vision is of a world where no one is blind from avoidable causes, and where people with disabilities participate equally in society.
Preventing sight loss and avoidable blindness in some of the poorest parts of the world by treating conditions such as cataracts and fighting debilitating eye diseases.
Promoting equal opportunities for people with disabilities, and we campaign for disability rights so everyone has the chance to go to school, earn a living and be happy.
Working with governments around the world to tackle the problems at the root of avoidable blindness, and we work with local communities to support people who need it most.
Sightsavers works in over 30 countries in some of the poorest parts of the world, with a focus on low and middle income countries in Africa and Asia. Read more here.
We’ve chosen to partner with Sightsavers due to their outstanding impact, as evaluated by givewell.org (a website we highly recommend for considering the effectiveness of a charity’s work), and are impressed and inspired by their transparency about how donations are used.
We believe that Sightsavers among the best charities with the biggest potential for drastically bettering the lives of its people, and doing the most good with each pound they receive.
AND! The UK government will be matching any personal donations given before 9 January, so we encourage you to consider giving on your own as well!
