Dispatch Time

If you're looking to place an order for UK next day delivery, this will need to be ordered before 12pm to give us time to ready and gift wrap your item before our courier collection. Our warehouse is closed at weekends to give our hard-workers some time off, so any orders placed at weekends will be dispatched on the following Monday.

Standard UK Delivery: 2-3 working days.

Express Next Day UK Delivery (Mon-Fri): order before 12pm 

Please note that if you've selected our embroidery service, this will add 2-3 working days to your order delivery time. 

We will keep you updated on its progress, so you’ll always know what’s happening. If you need your order quickly, do get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

Delivery Costs

Delivery charges vary by country and item. If you enter an address at checkout, you can then find our handy delivery calculator.

UK delivery is FREE for all orders over £49. For all other UK orders, delivery starts from £3.

Rest of World International Delivery varies, with duties and taxes applicable on arrival.

Please note, Gift cards do not count towards the free shipping minimum.

How are my items packaged?

We package each order as though it is a gift, because whether you are treating a loved one or yourself we want it to feel special. Everything is hand-wrapped with care and sent with love from Edinburgh.

We are also environmentally conscious and will wrap up multiple items together to save on paper and packaging. If you would like your blankets or scarves individually wrapped for an extra charge, please contact us at hello@tartanblanketco.com.

Our products are well protected and ready to be gifted with no receipt or invoices in the packaging, so you can have them sent straight to the recipient's door!

Would you like to ship to multiple addresses? Please put through a separate order for each address.

Returns and Exchanges

We are so sorry that your items are not suitable for you. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase so we accept returns, unused and in the original condition, up to 60 days after purchase. If you have a problem with your purchase, please get in touch immediately. We’re here for you every step of the way! See below for our returns process. If you are unsure which service you should use, we’re always here to help.

UK Returns

If you are in the UK, returns are free. See below for the rest of the world returns.

Fill out our online returns form to create your free returns label. You'll have the option to choose between drop off and collection, and if you don't have a printer - don't worry! You can have the driver bring it with them on collection.

If you’re after an exchange, please choose ‘Exchange’ from the ‘Reason for return’ dropdown and include a wee note in the parcel to let us know what you’d like instead. If you choose one of the other reasons, we’ll automatically refund it for you.

Once you’ve created your label, just attach it to your parcel and drop it into your local post office.

Items purchased in store or online can also be returned to our store at 170b Great Junction St, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 5LJ. 

Unfortunately products which have been embroidered are unable to be returned or exchanged unless faulty. 

Rest of World Returns

Unfortunately we can’t offer free returns worldwide. If you’re from outside the UK you’ll need to create your own label and find your own shipping method. Please include a note in your order including your name and order number.

Returns Responsibility
Returned items are the customer’s responsibility until they reach our warehouse, so please make sure they’re packed safe and secure for their journey back to us. Please remember to keep proof of postage in case you need to contact the courier about your return.
