Delivery and Returns



We package each blanket and scarf as though it is a gift, because whether you are treating a loved one or yourself we want it to feel special. Everything is hand-wrapped with care and sent with love from Leith.

We are also environmentally conscious and will wrap up multiple items together to save on paper and packaging. If you would like your blankets or scarves individually wrapped, please select this option at checkout.

Every single purchase matters to us and we want you to know that; from our beautifully designed The Tartan Blanket Co. box to the tissue sealed with a sticker- every detail matters.

Our products are well protected and ready to be gifted with no receipt or invoices in the packaging, so you can send it straight to the recipient!

Dispatch Time

All of our products are in stock in our Edinburgh warehouse. We try our very hardest to get orders shipped out the same day that we receive them. If you're looking to place an order for UK next day delivery, this will need to be ordered before 12pm to give us time to ready and gift wrap your item before our courier collection. Our warehouse is closed at weekends to give our hard-workers some time off, so any orders placed at weekends will be dispatched on the following Monday. We will, of course, keep you updated on its progress, so you’ll always know what’s happening. If you need your order quickly, do get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

Please note that if you've selected our embroidery service, this will add 3-5 working days to your order delivery time. 

Delivery Costs

Delivery charges vary by country and item.

UK delivery is FREE for all orders over £49.

For all other UK orders, delivery starts from £3.

International delivery is from £5.

Gift cards do not count towards the free shipping minimum.

We use Royal Mail, DPD Local, UPS and DHL for UK and European deliveries and UPS, DHL and FedEx for international deliveries.


We try to make returning goods as quick and easy as possible. Pop on over to our online returns form to create your free returns label. You’ll need a few details, easy ones like your order number and address, but don’t worry – we’re here for you if you get stuck.

If you’re after an exchange, please choose ‘Exchange’ from the ‘Reason for return’ dropdown and include a wee note in the parcel to let us know what you’d like instead. If you choose one of the other reasons, we’ll automatically refund it for you.

Once you’ve created your label, just attach it to your parcel and drop it into your local post office.

Unfortunately products which have been embroidered are unable to be returned or exchanged unless faulty. 

If you’re in the UK, it’s free. Sorry folks, but we can’t offer that worldwide.

Local Returns Address

To make shipping back to us simpler and at local charges you can return to our local warehouses.

This is super straightforward and all you need to do is create your own returns label and take it to the nearest drop off location provided.

Please note that if no service is displayed when creating a label it may mean there is no drop off location available within approximately 15 to 20km of the address entered.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase so we accept returns, unused and in the original condition, up to 60 days after purchase. But if you have a problem with your purchase, please get in touch immediately. We’re here for you every step of the way!
