2022 Wrapped Up: Over £100K Donated to Charity

We still can't quite believe it. In 2022, your purchases made it possible for 16 different positive impact charities to receive over £100,000. That's over £280,000 since our Positive Impact Pledge began. Such contributions seemed like a distant dream only a few years ago, but thanks to your continued support, together, we are creating a better future through supporting people to care for each other and the planet.

Our Positive Impact Pledge: 1% for the Planet, 1% for the People

For every purchase you make, 2% is given back to organisations which support amazing causes both in Edinburgh and beyond. We choose to donate from our annual revenue instead of just our profit for maximum impact. This means that every blanket, scarf, hat or candle you treated yourself to in 2022 contributed to giving back to our planet & the people on it - so every time you get, you are also giving.

Sharing Warmth

Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity helps seriously ill babies, children and young people by supporting their medical care, mental health and family’s wellbeing. We are honoured to have sponsored an advent day for the children in the lead-up to Christmas which featured a performance from the Scottish Ballet and a cosy Christmas movie night with warming blankets.

Members of the Snow Queen cast visited the wards, including pediatric ICU where they managed to perform to children in isolation through the windows of their rooms. One little girl had been due to go to the ballet but had been taken ill and admitted to hospital. She truly believed that the magic of the Snow Queen had somehow found her in the hospital.

Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home strives to make sure that every pet has the loving home it deserves. That's why we were thrilled to gift some blankets to help keep their residents a bit warmer.
